Rajeev Khandelwal Is Miffed By Rumours Of Forcing Himself On His Co-Star

On Saturday actor Rajeev Khandelwal was startled awake by a barrage of calls and text messages regarding his alleged misbehaviour with his co-star.

It took Rajeev a while to figure out that the alleged misbehaviour referred to a kiss that the actor planted on his co-star Kritika Kamra. In the footage that went viral on Saturday the startled actress is seen responding to Rajeev’s torrid smooch with a startled , and startling, slap.

When contacted the disgusted actor explained it was all part of a publicity campaign for his new serial Reporters being produced by Shristhi Aarya.

Says Rajeev, “I am doing one season of the serial Reporters. It’s plotted in and around the world of journalism.The whole controversy is not just strange but also very silly. It seems some jerk wanted a few moments of fame. So he leaked a couple of video grabs.”

So is the whole thing just a publicity stunt planted by the serial’s producers?
Rajeev is nonchalant. “You know how such rumours gain momentum? The incident is a part of a promo that will be seen on television from Monday.”
